Company Structure

The EFSIS Management Team

Headed up by Managing Director, Mark Proctor, the company is divided into three key business divisions agriculture, food processing, and marketing and international operations, run by Food Director, Carole Payne, Marketing & International Operations Director, Paul Ruocco and Technical Director, David Rose.

Carole Payne is responsible for post farm gate activity including inspection and certification to the EFSIS Standard and other products, relevant to the food processing sector, in the EFSIS portfolio. This include developing technical contract management accounts for clients operating in both the retail, manufacturing and food service sectors.

EFSIS operate in over 70 countries across the World. There are currently eight strategically based European offices operating in the UK, Spain, Germany, Sweden, France, Hungary, Czech Republic and Ireland providing a local service to many countries across Europe. As Marketing and International Operations Director, Paul Ruocco is keen to expand operations to a wider audience and further offices are planned in other areas of the world over the next two years An office will open in Thailand, serving the Asia Pacific region, and in the Czech Republic in 2005.

EFSIS' success can be partly attributed to its technical expertise and calibre of its 150 inspectors, who are all trained and experts in their individual fields.   Technical Director, David Rose, is responsible for ensuring the quality of all inspection and certification services and will ensure that all necessary national and international accreditations are maintained, providing clients with ultimate reassurance of the efficacy of EFSIS work.
