EFSIS is approved by every retailer currently using third party approval of their supplier base, and by key scheme owners around the world. These schemes cover the whole food chain from animal feed to restaurants and retail outlets.

The majority of these schemes are accredited to either EN45011 (ISO Guide 65), EN45004 (ISO17020) or EN45012 (ISO17021), which means that EFSIS has one of the most comprehensive lists of approvals in the world. EFSIS is accredited as a Certification Body by UKAS (No. 132) and an Inspection Body by UKAS (No. 0099).
